mdubz 0 Posted August 27, 2006 westbrook/trent green for gates/bulger who wins? i am giving the westy side. i have some good depth at runningback including sjax, dillon, maroney, chris brown and we only start two so i feel like i can give up westy to get better elsewhere. what do you think? thanks. Me_2006 14 Posted August 27, 2006 Agreed. Just look at their positional rankings. Bulger is top 3 (depending on how you rate Palmer after the injury) and Gates is the hands down #1. To get that, you're giving up what I have as the 12th best back and the 10th QB in the league. I say its a no brainer if you already have the NE handcuff, as whoever starts for them should pick up about 80-100 yds and a TD each week if they dont split too many carries, either way, take the deal and Gates will definitely make up for any points you lose with Westy so its basically Bulger over Green. kcsportsguy 0 Posted August 27, 2006 I wouldn't trade. Your giving up a top 10 running back. RB's are premium in fantasy football. I don't think your depth is that good at RB.
