unckeyherb 2 Posted August 27, 2006 My draft is tomorrow. I'm keeping McGahee and Chester. I have the #6 and #8 picks and two picks in the second round. I know the people in front of me are mostly all grabbing a RB, leaving me with the opportunity to grab 2 of SSmith, TO, Harrison, CJ, Boldin, Chambers. Should I go WR, WR and grab a RB3 in the second? I'll probably end up with the likes of Duece, Mike Anderson etc. Or do I go with one of those WR's and pick up a RB3 like Gore, Addai, Dillon, Thomas Jones, Deshaun etc. I got screwed last year by drafting Deuce and Julius then not going for my backup early. However, the lure of having McGahee, Chester, CJ and TO as my RB's and WR's makes me want to do it. What do yall think? typical scoring 6pts all TD's. Start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1k, 1def. Please give your opinions, I'll answer yours.

Eriadoc 4 Posted August 27, 2006 I'd really consider taking RB in the first round with one of those first round picks. If you got someone like Jackson coupled with a top WR like SSmith, Holt, or CJ, then you'd still have the second round to fill in. I just think you'd feel better with McGahee and Chester being #2 and #3 for you. You could still get three of the following with your #8 pick and two second-rounders: SSmith, Holt, CJ, Harrison, Wayne, Fitzgerald, Boldin, etc. please see mine - http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=224921
unckeyherb 2 Posted August 27, 2006 thanks for your opinions so far! I need to stress that this is a 2 person keeper, so figure thre the top 24 RB's are gone. I'll be drafting at best in the second round, guys like tatum, barolw, green, fred taylor, chris brown and duece. keep the opinions coming! thanks
