morphine 0 Posted August 27, 2006 In a keeper league, where my RB1 & QB are already set. I could draft R. Brown as my RB2, but would have to take him early. Alternatively, I could trade down and get a Dillon...at the expense of getting Dillon's h/c in later round. While I like R. Brown when he's healthy, I'm not convinced he'll be healthy for the whole year. The advantage to trading down would be to lock up a solid WR (such as TO or HW). which way to go: R. Brown + ave WR (Plaxico or A. Johnson or DJax) Dillon + solid WR (TO or HW or CC) + handcuff required
shake_a_leg 0 Posted August 27, 2006 You should probably go with Brown in this situation. You'll be counting on a lot to get Dillon and Maroney, unless you're planning on going Dillon/AJ/Maroney.
jbwillisjr 0 Posted August 27, 2006 No reason to think Brown will be injured, therefore go with the sure commodity w/o the stress. Get Brown and go to sleep easy.....
bjlmonster 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Brown and Plax/Andre Johnson are much, much, much, much better than Dillon/Maroney. I see RBBC in NE, since Maroney is playing so well. Brown is the undisputed #1 in MIA and WR depth will be a plus
cchurchill75 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Agreed... NE is going to be RRBC.... Pick up Brown, and then try to snag Maroney from the Dillon owner later in the draft see mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225084
