Apu Nahasapeemapetilon 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Draft last night...did not go as well as planned. Tons of RBs were drafted earlier than I thought (heck, Dunn went 2.3 and Droughans 2.6). No stud WRs slipped to 3.10. Was offered Owens/C Brown in exchange for Horn/Fragile Freddy immediately after the draft. Our WW is very large since we only draft 14 rounds, so I'm not worried about backups so much. Just starters. Need opinions (standard scoring). Should I make the deal and hope Owens can play? My squad: QB: Palmer, Brooks RB: Jordan, J Lewis, F Taylor, D Williams WR: C Johnson, Horn, Burleseon, C Jackson TE: McMichael, Miller D: Ravens K: J Brown I'm taking my kids out now, but if you post a link I'll reply this afternoon. leftyguitar 0 Posted August 27, 2006 i think it's a wash. brown is just as much an injury risk as freddy. and brown will sit out a game if he has a hangnail. I don't know why everyone is down on Joe Horn this year, yea he's gettin older but he still looks solid as ever, and brees is MUCH better than aaron brooks. T.O. is a headache waiting to happen.
