Who would u draft first Edgerrin James or Ronnie Brown?

i would go with edge. hes a vet, and has proven it over time. i know the oline sucks, but after a few weeks, they should be able to gel. ALso they wont be able to stack the box with those wrs.

I am in the same boat as you. I think I am leaning slightly towards Ronnie Brown. I think the Dolphins will be more of a run first team and the Cardnials a pass first team. You might also want to consider Stephen Jackson.

 

I am going to state the obvious here. James is the safe pick and Brown is the upside pick.

i just poicked 5th and picked brown over edge -- Im a bit worried baout the O line in AZ -- I think brown will have a big year

I took Edge. Brown may have upside, but I wanted better odds. Nothing worse than taking a leap in the first round and coming up short. Leagues may be won in the later rounds of the draft, but I find they are lost with picks that don't live up to expectations in the first and second.

I like brown this year.....I mean Edge will do great but I think Brown will have better numbers overall

Take Brown. I have Brown as the #4 RB on the board this season. He has an outstanding run schedule, his OL will improve like last season, he has a great OL coach to coach up his OL, and he has absolutely no competition for the job.

 

Edge has like 1 yard total rushing in the preseason, and I don't want to hear the "it's preseason" argument. That OL is terrible and do you really want to draft a guy who will desperately need to get receptions (and lots of them) in order to live up to his draft position?

 

Brown will get you receiving yardage, and should have a very good year rushing the ball. Take him and don't look back (and look with pity on the guy who follows you up and takes Edge).
