Waiver Wire Question

I had a 10 team draft on Sunday. After it was complete I noticed these two still available. I like my RB but I could alway trade for a bette WR.

 

My Current RB's are.

T Barber

R Droughns

F Gore

M Bell

 

Also Which to drop?

A Bryant WR

V Davis TE

E Wilford WR

Tough call...I like Benson better. He's on a team committed to the run as a necessity, based on the current QB Grossman. He is the RB of the future there in Chicago. I think Addai takes over later on in the year. I'd drop Wilford to make the move. I like Bryant's chances to make some noise this year.

Benson has more upside, but Rhodes is guaranteed to get a good number of carries.

 

if this is a keeper league, you should take benson.

 

if its a redraft league and you have to start 2 RB's I'd probably consider rhodes. I'm not 100% sold on Droghns or Gore and Bell isnt guaranteed a starting job.

 

At least Rhodes is gonna get a fair number of carries, especially early in the season until Addai rounds into form. (which may be mid or late part of the season)

 

however, I'd keep a close eye on benson. if they announce he will be the starter, his value will go up huge.

 

In fact, you may want to grab benson regardless until they announce who the starter will be in Chicago. If they announce Jones will be the starter, theres a decent chance you can dump benson and still pickup Rhodes on waivers just prior to the start of the season.
