scottybo 1 Posted August 29, 2006 this question seems easy on the outside but i'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking of taking Wali Lundy who may be the starter in Houston in my league. He would never play but would stop other league members from potentially getting a starting rb in the league. Should I drop Ben Troupe and not have a Backup TE in hopes of trading one of my surplus of rbs by week 3 when A Gates has a bye? Is Lundy a better value than Troupe up until week 3 where I would have to drop someone to cover for gates. Here are my backups, RB - Gore, Mike Bell, Maroney, Deangelo Williams WR - D Driver TE Troupe QB - Kurt Warner Troupe was going to be dropped anyway after week 3 since I'll never need to replace gates unless he gets hurt. Would you pick up lundy right now and hope he gets the starting job or let some other owner pick him up? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kbtegp 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I'd look at how other teams are set for TE's first. Troupe is in line for a huge season. TEN TE's caught 101 balls last year. Troupe should get the lions share this year. You might be able to package Troupe and ? for an upgrade and still open a roster spot for Lundy. What's smarter? Mike Bell Denver (probably RBBC, shanahan is too hard to figure out) or Ben Troupe TE (in line for big season, backup to Antonio Gates on me team, would cover week 3 bye) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
