MissionCoach 4 Posted August 29, 2006 August 29, 2006, 10:00 Eagles :: RB RB Westbrook Slowly Returning Les Bowen, Philadelphia Daily News - [Full Article] RB Brian Westbrook didn't do that much in practice, but just seeing him actually on the field was noteworthy; Westbrook hadn't worn an Eagles uniform since he left after one series in the Hall of Fame game. Yesterday, when Westbrook spoke with reporters for the first time since being injured, it was clear that his absence has been more than precautionary. Westbrook said he expects to be ready for the Sept. 10 season opener, but added that "I still have a long way to go." Then he changed that to "I still have a little way to go."
