smr292 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Hate to do it but need to drop one of these guys to make room for a K. Leaning towards Norwood, then Favre, then Braylon. Any help appreciated.
jwmatthews3 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I would drop Norwood. He looks good, but there is no chance that Dunn is going anywhere, barring an injury. The other guys are potential starters you could use if you had to right now (with nothing changing). As a rule, I try to act as if there will be no injuries. TheHolmes 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Get rid of Braylon. Norwood would be too big if Dunn went down (older guy coming off 2 years with career number of carries I believe means he is an injury risk IMO). Favre will throw his picks and lots of them, but they will be behind a lot of games which means lots of yards and Favre always gets his TD's so I think he will put up respectable middle of the road QB numbers. Braylon hasnt done anything in the league yet, and WR's in his tier should be easy to pick up later. Plus he plays for the Browns.

It's tough not knowing who else fills out your roster. In my league, I'd drop Favre, because we get penalized for interceptions. How's the rest of your RB corps? If you don't have Dunn, maybe trade Norwood and Edwards for a better WR if the guys who has Dunn isn't looking too strong, and then just pick up a kicker. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I would drop Braylon. WRs of that caliber are a dime a dozen. If your WRs are weak, keep him and drop Farve. Washed up QBs are also a dime a dozen. You'd be better with David "lying on my back" Carr anyway. Norwood will have value to the Dunn owner. Might be trade bait for down the line. adam smitty 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I wouldnt drop Edwards. He has a lot of upside this year, I'd wait a few weeks into the season to see if he starts to pan out. It's tough, but I'd drop Norwood right now just because he is not going to play much barring injury.
