What's the story w/ Jerry Porter

I just picked him up off of the WW. Does he have a shot to land somewhere else or get back in the good graces w/ Oakland? Any Homers have info?

Here's what I've heard. He got himself in the doghouse in his initial meeting with Art Shell.

 

Right now Doug Gabriel is running as the #2 WR.

 

I've just read that Porter is working very hard now and not letting his feud with Shell interfere with him getting ready for the season.

 

Porter has been rumored to be on the trade block, and the Raiders have received offers but have rejected every one of them. With Atlanta and Philly adding Lelie and Stallworth, his options are certainly narrowing down a bit.

 

Possible destinations could be CHI, MINN, DET, MIA, NYJets. I think it will sort itself out within the next two weeks.

 

I'd hold onto him and hope he goes to a quality team in need of a WR.

I'd love to see him go to the Vikes since Koren Robinson is no longer.... what are the chances of this do ya think?

On the WW in my league also. Keeping an eye on him . Would love to have him as a #3 in place of Greg Jennings ot M Jenkins but he is going nowhere fast in OAK.
