SoCalMakos 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Which of the Elite 3 do you like and in what order? 1. Shuan Alexander: Same offense, same coaches, great offensively balanced team and missing 1 pro bowl lineman. Biggest plus I see, easier regular season schedule and easier fantasy playoff schedule. The NFC has weaker teams, especially the NFC West and they cross with the AFC west. He will see a lot of carries, no RBBC to worry about, however he does not catch a lot of passes. 2. Larry Johnson: Biggest upside of the Elite 3, youngest of the 3, put up huge numbers in 9 starts. Negatives include O-line issues, loss of FB, and new coaching staff. Plays in the tougher AFC and Division with games against Pit, Balt, and 2 each with good defenses in Den and SD. Slightly tougher fantasy Playoff schedule. Advantage over Alexander he catches more passes. 3. LaDanian Tomlinson: Not so sure Rivers will hurt him that much, Brees did'nt seem to slow him down when he became the starter a few years ago. Very consistent, highly involved in the passing game, but it seems like the last few years he has had a few injuries that slowed him down. Is the season ending one next? Plays pretty much the same schedule as LJ. Biggest scare though has to be the new QB especially if Rivers tanks and defenses start stacking the line. What do you think?
