trade question...

Recommended Posts

See my roster in my sig. Potential trade in the works. I'd be giving up Wali Lundy and Keenan McCardell or Antonio Bryant for Derrick Mason.

Thoughts?

I wouldnt do it. There really isnt that much gained by this. You lose all the upside that Lundy has. And Mason while better then McCardell and Bryant isnt worth either of those plus a potential starting back. Dont do it.

it is really up to you on which wr you want to let go of. mccardell will be more consistent, but could just be consisently average while bryant will do crap one week and the have 2 tds and 120yds the next. all in all bryant will probably score you more points this year but you never know what he will do week to week. i think that you already have a guy like that in matt jones so i would trade lundy and bryant for mason.

nice kicker!

I'd trade Bryant over Keenan, but it sounds like an excellent trade for you. Def. improvement for your WR corps, doesn't hurt your RBs too much, I don't see Lundy being better than anyone on your roster. You might consider picking up Pittman after the deal goes through, just to back up the injury prone Williams.

As for Wali's quote upside /unquote, I would say his best case scenario is 1000yrds, 6tds. More likely though are 800yrds 4tds. Remember, he is a 7th round draft pick on a marginal offense. Just because he is a starter does not mean he will be a stud. Lewis's upside is a bounce back year where he goes 1200/8, which I find far more likely than Wali's 1000 yard season. Mason is way better than any 2nd reciever on your team.
