Because it is a 14 man league, I am assuming not many teams are looking great, so you will always have a chance. Just be on the lookout on the waiver wire for that suprise breakout player. Killer Elite 0 Posted September 2, 2006 You have a lot of garbage on your roster. Your best bet is to try and trade Hasslebeck for Jamal Lewis maybe? You already have Mike Anderson so getting Jamal would help ya. Then grab a QB off waivers if there is anything there. Dont trade Hasslebeck if there isnt decent value in QB in free agency. Your team is hurting. You need to stay 1 step ahead with the news and get the good players before the rest of your league and you have a shot. If there is a M. Barber, Lundy, Maroney type handcuff still out there grab him. Feel free to drop Vince Young, Mike Pittman, Tony Fisher, and Robert Ferguson they are all worthless. And try and get these people if they are free agents: Lundy, Morency, Givens, S. Parker, Norwood, Jennings, or S. Davis. Some or all of them are probably available and could help you down the road. Without seeing you intire league I have no idea if this is good advice or not. I guess what I am saying is dont throw in the towel. FF is won through Free Agency and trades, not with a draft.
