rottytiny 7 Posted September 3, 2006 Standard scoring, NO PPR. 12 team league. Start 2 RB AND 3WR I have the 8th pick so I will grab one of the Rbs from the group of Brown, Edge, Rudi Sjax, Jordan. Do I grab a stud WR or my 2nd RB in round 2? If one of the top guys don't make it to me (Smith, CJ, Holt Harrison, Fitz) do I still need a WR because we start 3 WR? Whats your opinion of the RB's (rank) Edge, Rudi, Sjax, Jordan, Brown. How do you rank the top WR's give me your top 5. (Is HArrison still in the stud category??) Will see yours if you want. I owuld still pick up a WR in the 2nd if you have to start 3. There are plenty of RB that can be had in the later rounds that will work just fine as a No2 (Lundy, Taylor, Barlow) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227735
J-Money 4 Posted September 3, 2006 since you draft in the middle, there will could be a rb slip in the draft. If he drops to you, you take him. but since you start 3 wr's i would definitely take a top teir wr in the 2nd if noone drops.
JGAB19 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Ya, I had the 5th pick in 10 man and picked up HOLT and WAYNE in both rds 2 and 3.. I picked up Willie Parker in 4th and there were a few other RB's available.. WR are deep but 1 or 2 of the elite ones would be nice to have..
jwmatthews3 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Along the same lines as the other posts, this doesn't seem to be a year where there's an elite 16 of stud RB's -- it kind of drops into a mushy middle. So you don't have to pick an RB in round 2. But I would, depending on the cirumstances. Gotta work the tiers. If no one else picks WR, and you can get a top tier WR, take him. (I consider the top tier to be Smith, Johnson, Holt, and Harrison and Fitz). If they are gone, then the RB you can get is that much better (maybe Portis or someone of that caliber). My rank of the RB's you specified: Edge, Sjax, Rudi, , Brown, Jordan.
