Westbrook, Brown or Betts?

Hi All,

 

This is only my second year doing FF. I've learned a lot from this forum and site in general.

 

This week I can start two of the three, and the Portis injury is causing me to consider starting Betts.

 

Westbrook v. Houston

Ronnie Brown v. Pitt

Betts v. Minn

 

If you were me, which two do you start?

I'd go with Westy. Even though he is an injury risk, he is playing a weak run D.

 

Brown @ Pitt I'd stay away from. Brown has a great scheuale this year, but week 1 is not a good week for him.

 

Betts would be a good start, but who knows how Duckett will work into thinks with the GL carries.

I'd say you have to start Ronnie Brown. Make him prove he's not going to be great this year. It's a tough matchup, but Culpepper will hopefully open some things up for Brown. Also, with Roethlisberger out and maybe even Hines Ward, I think it's going to be a close game and the running game could decide it. Also start Westbrook over Betts. IMO

I think you gotta start R Brown and B West. Betts could be the 3rd option but at the best is splittin carries with Duckett and since it's not really a secret that Gibbs likes big backs who can pound it, I beleive TJD will be totin the rock. But that's just my $.02 hope it helps.
