groovy gravy 0 Posted September 4, 2006 11th pick in a serpentine draft, 6 pts for all touchdowns, .5 points per reception. QB - Kurt Warner RB - Ronnie Brown RB - Steven Jackson WR - Donald Driver WR - Roy Williams WR - Derrick Mason TE - LJ Smith K - Jeff Wilkins D - Jacksonville B - QB Brett Favre B - RB Mike Bell B - RB Tatum Bell B - RB Vernand Morency B - WR Nate Burleson B - WR Amani Toomer I'm pretty happy with everything but the QB's and would like some advice on what trades would be feasible. What do you all think?
kolp 9 Posted September 4, 2006 i like it for a 12 man league...might want to shop for a starting #3 running back....you've got 2 studs starting but not much after that...i like the qbs, i think favre will bounce back this year, also high on burleson this year... Good Job
tzillow 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Looks pretty good for a 12 team. If you could figure out a way to trade for a bigger name WR I would say do it. Might be tough because although your RBs are good there isn't a lot of depth since you have both Bell's. If you could pair them together for a better WR (Boldin/Evans or something similar) and decent bench RB it might be worth it.
unclemercy 53 Posted September 5, 2006 i like packaging the bells for a solid three and would watch waivers for a wideout that fits your bye week situations... i dunno, like doug gabriel? aha... would discuss further if you'd like
groovy gravy 0 Posted September 5, 2006 What kind of a solid #3 could I get for the Bells? And, I'm just curious, why don't you like the Bells? Denver has had a top 15 back for ten years straight and I think at least one of these guys will continue that. Thanks for the input.
unclemercy 53 Posted September 5, 2006 okay, okay... tell me now which bell it'll be and i'll like em a lot better. tatum's no good and mike's a rookie. they'll split carries and which ever one you don't start is gonna get more touches and touchdowns... get thomas jones if you want production and a backfield platoon headache you gotta good team... may consider waiting for someone who won't be consistant to increase their value early on and then send em packing to steal something good
DrGonzo 1 Posted September 5, 2006 Great job on your RBs. You can ride em for a while, but I do agree you might want to try for another WR. Overall solid team. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228455
