killer rabbit 0 Posted September 5, 2006 I need to pick up a kicker. The best 2 on the FA market are Ryan Longwell of the Vikings and Michael Koenen of the Falcons. With Longwell, I don't know how many scoring opportunities he'll have in that Vikings offense. He's 44-51 inside domes for his career. Koenen has a lot of hype after his preseason and showing off his leg strength, but his accuracy in college wasn't very good. We get negative points for missed field goals as well as more points for longer field goals. Would you go with the veteran or the rookie? I'll answer yours. J-Money 4 Posted September 5, 2006 i had my draft today and we're required to take backups for every position. I took stover in the 3rd to last round when i could have had longwell, then followed that up with Koenen in the last round. Like they said, a kicker is a kicker, just take whoever you're most comfortable with... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228199
