WhoRide2002 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Thats an interesting setup. Your teams looks decent, but its hard to tell without knowing the rest of the league. I don't know much about keeper leagues because I've never been in one. Who would you start out of my WR's? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229186
throttlers 0 Posted September 6, 2006 I'd give that team a B. You are set at RB, but I don't like your QB or WR situation much. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229185
trusthartley 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Another Plummer supporter I see? There aren't many of us. I think people attempted to laugh me out of the draft room when I took Plummer in the 9th which was maybe a reach but I like him this year. He is Jake Plummer so he gets made fun of but he's a consistent regular season performer. I think the Cutler move lit a fire under him instead of making him fragile like everyone says. Javon can only help alot. WR's are kind of suspect but you have the RB talent to make something happen there. Driver, Roy are a great 2, 3. It is just a stretch to have them 1,2, with a weak 3 perhaps.

Willy Bob 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I have never been in or seen a league like it. That said, you team is pretty solid everywhere and stacked at RB assuming Portis returns healthy at some point. Between your QBs, play the matchups and you should be fine. Wideouts are the weakest link but not a total disaster, you just need a couple of guys to step up; Gates is a beast and I like Williams alot.

KEEPER LEAGUES are great! What I always keep in mind with a keepers league mindest: The "Wick" (Career) only burns for so long. You did great drafting Maroney and Greg Jennings! These two give you longevity. Jennings has already proven himself in the preseason and looks Strong! Brett Favre will find him an excellent secondary target to Donald "Duck" Driver. Green Bay will be coming from behind a lot over the next few years until rebuilding is done and this guy Jennings is AWESOME! Cheers to that KEEPER PICK!! What can you say about Maroney? A lot since Belicheck and the Pats got him! Bill and the Pats are not stupid, obviously. They actually know their ######, and apparently, you do too. So Cheers, again for drafting your AWESOME ROOKIE KEEPER! As far as your roster goes, your team seems like it needs and infusion. Maybe a trade or two to get your team truly locked in? Your QB, WR, K, and DEF could all use your own type of infusion towards upgrading. I, as well as yourself, reallize how difficult it will be to upgrade all of that. Use your FF skills and wit and be quick and think LARGE! Try to position yourself amongst your league to gain opportunity when the others least expect it! Constantly make changes and don't stick yourself in the mire. FF is about adapting and taking advantage with your given skills and mindset. Don't fool yourself week after week. Read, Learn, Adapt, and WIN! BEST OF LUCK!! AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY!! PURE MASSACRE SAYS CHEERS!!!

BMoney 0 Posted September 7, 2006 you didnt like MY team and we have some of the same guys! kidding... its not a bad team..im not sold on any lion..esp when they play the bears twice or the cold in GB...people ripped martz all last year and now, they call him smart?...i like kitna..but im not terribly sold on the williams...they need to play hard every week..which that havent yet... if a smith can get off passes..bryant has a chance..but it wont be vs seattle twice... i wouldnt touch wilford.. maroney and jennings will be solid....or will d driver..youll be in the running... you just will have to pick up someone for portis and suggs eventually....but theres always a gem floating on the FA wire... hadji 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Really solid RB's but can use some work at QB and WR. Maybe pull off some trades with the RB strength you have. You do have some young potential at WR. I like Wilford this year and I took a chance on Plummer late also. I think he is great value for where he's going in most drafts. Thanks for the help on mine.
