EddyKnights 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Qb.Eli Manning,Collins Rb.Rudi Johnson,Westbrook,Marion Barber,Dominic Rhodes,Brandon Jacobs,Bulkhalter Wr.Roy Williams,PlaxBurress,Burleson,Parker,Caldwell,Colston,Kevin Curtis Te.Cooley and L.J Smith Ackers League starts 1 qb,2 rb 3 wr and 1 te.. Would you deal Rhodes and Burleson for Santana Moss and David Givens Your reply gets mine! League awards 1 point for receiver reception, 1 point for every 10 yards receiving,1 point for every 10 rushing, tds are worth 10 points....rushing bonus of 5 at 100 yards and receiving bonus of 5 at 100 yards... What do you think
MoshPitHippie 0 Posted September 7, 2006 If Addai does not step up then rhodes is a starter and will have a good year... As it is Rhodes is a starter and I would not want to trade a starting Rb for marginal streaky receivers... Return the fave? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=0#entry2662861
hadji 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I agree with EddyKnights. You can't trade away a starter for two streaky WR's. I'm not really high on Moss this year. I don't think he'll be able to come even close to what he did last year. help me out: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229344
Pecos Rattlers 5 Posted September 7, 2006 I think Moss will have good year, but Burleson has big potential if Jackson can't stay healthy. I don't see the upside unless you are doubtful of Burleson's adjustment to Seattle and certain Barber will win the job in Dallas to mitigate your loss of Rhodes. I would decline. How about some help: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229351

I have faith that barber will become a good backup down the line...
Eriadoc 4 Posted September 7, 2006 Conventional wisdom would dictate a decline. However, I feel like SMoss is a top-10 WR again this year. Many people don't give him the respect he deserves - the guy can flat-out play. The ability to start SMoss, Plax, and Roy Williams in your three WR slots is pretty attractive. Granted, you're losing RB depth, but you have to give to get. If you think Burleson can put up 1000 and 6, you probably want to stick with Rhodes, though I think that will be a mess all year long. EddyKnights 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Well I saw it as a upgrade.. I prefer having Santana Moss over Burleson... I have faith that barber will become a good backup down the line... and thats my thinking that Burleson will be very erratic this year and that Rhodes will be in a full fledge 50/50 rbbc..... I like the potential that my receivers have right now...
