A possible move would be to pick up McCardell who is the wideout is SD but remember that the passing game there revolves around Gates so consider him a 2nd WR for fantasy purposes. Rivers has looked decent so far through the preseason but this is his first pro start so right now Toomer would be more valuable since Eli has already established himself to be capable.
