Pick 2 of these WR's for week 1

Recommended Posts

Chambers vs. Pittsburgh is a tough matchup, but Chambers is my best WR. Does he classify as a stud yet? He was for the last half of last year, but how long do you have to consistently perform before you can't be benched on a fantasy team??

FFToday projections have Derrick Mason projected pretty high against Tampa Bay.

Santana Moss vs. Minnesota seems like a favorable matchup, but does Brunell end up spreading the field more since they have Lloyd and Randle El now?

I'm shying away from Bennett this week because of the Volek/Collins debacle. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt he'll outscore my other 3 options. :(

TIA

Leave a link and I'll help if I can.

I'm having a similar problem deciding whether to start mason or not. He's listed as questionable, and though I'm pretty sure he'll be there, how effective will he be and what is the probability he'll be pulled early? I'd also worry the Redskins running game may not be up to snuff and then Brunell will have trouble. From the preseason, it appears the Redskins have some o-line issues. Even against Pitt, I'd start Chambers. I'm probably going to gamble with Mason but that's something that I'll be watching right up until the last minute.

Tampa has a stout defense...pass and rush. And Minnesota will be a surprise this year. Pitt lost Hope in the secondary and you may find more situations where Polamalu and the new guy not meshing as well as Hope and he did. I'd probably go with Moss/Chambers. Simply because Portis is questionable...and Santana and Steve Smith are very similar in their moves and Fred Smoot got Smooted last year by Smith.

Thanks for the help on mine...http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=229496

I'd look at it as who is least likely to get their numbers. Pitt is still pretty good to me so probably a low scoring affair. If they eatup clock running given the QB situation, leaves less time on the clock for the Miami offense (i.e. Chambers). In my opinion WR are soley dependent on their QBs. If he's good, he will find a way to get the ball there. Bennett is just an unkown because of the reason you stated.

Leaves Mason and Moss. Chrs

I have the same problem...

I have chambers, moss, coles, and a. bryant.

I am going with the big guns this weekend and see how the other two do.

Take Moss and Chambers and put them in your starting lineup.

I would never sit Chambers this season, but that's just me. And then maybe take a shot at the old McNair to Mason combo.

Thanks for responding to mine. Sorry it took so long to get back with you. I would start Chambers he is your stud, and you just cant sit your stud. Then I would start Mason, the connection is back w/ McNair. There you go, good luck
