dpbuddha 9 Posted September 7, 2006 Everyone is looking but only one reply...does that mean everyone agrees that Steven Jackson is the man?
sta 5 Posted September 7, 2006 FWP Pitt will run all night
SoulDoubt 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Parker. As mentioned Pitt will probably run a lot tonight without Ben and possibly without Hines in the line up. You can say Miami's D is too strong but Denver is usually good against the run. They gave up the second fewest ypg on the ground last year and some of their guys on D that were hampered by injuries last year are healthy this year. Miami was ranked 17th against the run last year and while they might improve I don't know if they'll improve that much.
JaceDuhAce 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Without Ben and Hines, won't Miami stack the line??? I say SJax not only because of that but also because you probably picked him in the first round and you should more often than not start your 1st round pick - the "always go with your stud" rule. Week 1 while he is still healthy and offense is supposed to be more run oriented -- SJax. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229771

They might stack the line but one way or the other Pitt will more than likely run a lot. If Pitt can't eastablish a passing game they'll have to run. If they do establish a passing game that opens things up for the run. The reason to start Jackson to go along with you said is the fact that the Rams are supposedly going to be more commited to the run this year.
djteknokid 0 Posted September 7, 2006 with Batch out, it's going to be a Paker show. SJAX may get his points taken away by Stephen the vulture Davis. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229828
