Ray_T 605 Posted September 8, 2006 I have always had a theory behind game time strategy. when playing against a team that is clearly better than your own, (whether this is due to injury, bye weeks or just a better team), I will find the teams where his players are on, and if I have players on a team playing against them, I will start them. The theory, if my teams win, there is a better chance that my players will perform and his wont. for example, a couple years back, I played against a guy when I had LT and a WR as well as my defense on bye weeks. at the time, KC's defense while unspectacular, did create a lot of turnovers. they were playing against a team where he had two starters. So I picked up Kennison and KC's defense from waivers and was able to pull the upset because KC won and his team didnt perform as well as he had hoped and threw a couple of late picks in an attempt to comeback for a win. how many of you feel this is a valid strategy? Are there any other unique head to head strategies you would employ in certain situations?
