Sluggo2 0 Posted September 9, 2006 I have Denver's Defense at STL or Jacsonville's Defense vs. DAL. JAX is my #1 defense but I smell Denver pwnage in St. Louis this weekend. I get: 2 pts. per turnover 1 pt. per sack. 5 pts. per safety 6 pts. for turnovers returned for TD's 1 pt. for every point under 15 the opponent is held to (reads: 15 pts. for a shutout) I was planning on starting JAX DEF but DEN DEF is starting to look like a good play. bobpate17 0 Posted September 9, 2006 St louis is top 8 offance in NFL right now. I think that game will be high scoring. go with jax. I shouldn't say this because if jax does well then bledso will do bad. and I am starting bledso. but I think jax will have better game than Den. Please look at my question. I originally drafted both Den and Jax as my two D's, and believe both to be top-10 Ds with Den being a better quality D overall. However, dropped Den to pick up more RB depth. One reason why i dropped Den is this week's matchup against an offensive powerhouse (Rams), so i wasn't going to start them anyways. Also, Den's schedule is much more difficult and is against some very good offenses. Jax has many games against very poor teams, to inlcude two vs. Ten, 2 vs. Hou, 1 vs. NYJ, 1 vs. Buf........and 1 vs Mia (who i am not sold on). Oh, and 1 vs Philly (who i also am not sold on). mambokings 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Jacksonville. * here's an interesting little tidbit: Jags head coach Jack Del Rio is going to have the Cowboys wear the darker uniforms this Sunday (their blues). Jacksonville will be suiting up in the white jerseys. Reason? Heat. On the theory that the darker uniforms absorb the heat more, he's going to put that burden on the visiting Cowboys and not his own team. Hopefully Dallas will wear down sooner due to heat exhaustion.
