I know you got SJAX in the 1st or 2nd round so you would think that he is that best guy...not this week. Denver D will shut him down.

I think Gore is going to wok out this year as the main back in SF but I would like to see it first.

Foster ran for 165 yards, 9.2 avg., and a td last time they met ...... I think we got something here :headbanger:

Thanks for mine.

Thanks for answering mine.

I'd stay with Jackson at home. It is week one and you most likely spent a 1st rounder on him with good reason. Don't bench your studs until they give you a reason to do so.

I would go Gore , plays the weaker DEF . With playing 3 already you may be in trouble . I hope SEA . def scores big , I too have them >

GOOD LUCK AND THANKS

I would go Foster. Gore will be limited since they will be playing catchup and throwing a lot. I also think that this is not the best week for SJax.

Bump-

I am debating SJAX and Foster now.

Do we feel that ATL has suped up its rushing defense w Abraham, Milloy and the DT acquistions that I should stick with my 2nd round pick? Foster did look pretty good in the preseason but then its a preseason.

Any opinions with reasons would be appreciated- :shocking:

Foster won't be any healthier this year than he is right now and he also eats ATL alive.

I'm not sold on STL and I think DEN gives them fits this week.

Normally SJ gets started regardless of matchup but I'd play Foster this week in your position. Pay attention to the two key words: this week.

Thanks for answering mine.

sjax or foster.... nice problem to have.

id go with jackson, but thats partly because i have him and after my dolphins (chambers and mcmichael) tanked on thurs, i have conviinced myself that sjax will have a HUGE game. so take it with a grain of salt.

You're right. We do have the same problem basically. Honestly though, I would take a really good look at Foster because he TORCHED Atlanta last year in both games and Sjax hasnt proven much yet. I really cant give you 100% advice because im in the same situation really. Good luck though.

I posted this in another forum, but again I really like Gore this week, i think he'll be huge this year! Like i have said in the other posts, the coach said that the 49ers want to run 60% of the time and pass the rest! Gore will be the main guy running the ball! here's what i like about Gore

-last year he was splitting time, and now hes the starter(not splitting time)

-this week they're playing a very weak D

-he had a great preseaon!

-last year he avg. more yards per carry than cadillac williams!

-coach wants the team to become a 60% running team and the rest passing!

hope this helps

QB edge - You

WR edge - Him (thank Chambers)

TE edge - him Heep every day vs Gonzo now every block

RB there's the rub his tiki should do well w. Simon out, but only marginally better than your Brown. (You should be pleased against Pitt w as lousy a rushing game as he had he still produced well.) The final slot I think Foster is more of a lock against Atl to outperform Dunn against the same team (& their tough D) I like SJax on the year with the new StL system, but agree w the poster that Denver will be tough. Less certain for this week than Foster IMO and I'm going to need 2 see Gore in action 1st in order to start him above any of the others.

good luck
