genova35 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Any help would be great...I am stuck on this one. I feel that Brees has a better matchup against the browns, but the Manning Bowl could be a shoot out... What do you all think?

What do you all think? I think the Manning Bowl will be a shootout as well. This one is a coin flip, but I would go with Manning. Brees is riskier playing with a new team. bobpate17 0 Posted September 9, 2006 I go with manning. he will be in highscorrig game. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=229898
Ray_T 753 Posted September 9, 2006 I think I'd go with manning. Brees has never been a big numbers quarterback. He is much more of an efficient QB that manages an offense (similar to Brady and Rothlisberger) Guys like that, rarely put up huge numbers I'd prefer to have a guy like Brees as my QB in real life, because guys like that win games. but for fantasy football.... not as good. Gunslingers like the mannings, Farve, McNabb, bulger and Carson Palmer are much more likely to put up huge numbers. and when you put one fantasy stud against another, usually you end up with both putting up monster numbers. the only reason you'd consider starting brees ahead of manning is if you get penalized for interceptions.
