jaymedale 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Will help with your questions. Wondering if I should pick up T. Gonzalez, Troy Brown, Troy Williamson, or Rod Smith? Would probably drop Todd Heap and/or Ben Watson. Each week gotta start 3 WR's/TE's. Current WR's/TE's: H. Ward, D. Jackson, D. Mason, M. Jones, Heap and Watson. Thoughts? Guest SheVegas Posted September 14, 2006 If it is a pure td league I would go with Williamson....I know I know he dropped 3 passes but he will catch them and score...If it is performance based I would go with TG
PhinsFTW 0 Posted September 14, 2006 wow, i would get Rod Smith, he's proven and he still puts up numbers... but i think Williamson has the potential to put up some pretty big numbers in Minnesota, so basically if you want to play it safe get Smith, if you want a higher risk/reward guy, Williamson. granta_05 3 Posted September 14, 2006 I would probably hold on to Heap and Watson. I really like Watson this year once Brady gets it going.
Bearshopeful 0 Posted September 14, 2006 How the heck are ANY of those guys not picked up?? Is there only 4 teams in your league
Keyser Sose 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I like Troy Brown as the #1 WR in NE. Williamson is a close 2nd, but he is making a lot of mistakes still. Gonzo would be a must pickup if you have to start a TE each week, but if not, not as important to grab him especially with a rookie QB in KC. Green may not ever come back, so Gonzo is dead weight for now. Rod Smith I avoid- he is only a hands guy and a second option in DEN- his age continues to drag his value down. theonly1 0 Posted September 14, 2006 PPR I go with gonzo-drop watson (but will not due muck until green comes back) williamson- up sit is large......once he gets his head on straight and hangs on to the ball. troy is next but the reason i do not like him is the same as waton...brafy spreads the ball around too much TD only williamson troy gozo rod is last in both thanks for mine! joeunleaded 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Gonzo for sure - yes, Green is out, but Huard will not be launching the long pass. He will hand off to LJ and dump off for short passes - likely many to TG. Thanks for the input.
loudog85 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I would definilty pick up Gonzo if he's still out there and Williamson could have a big year as well
sanders 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Grab Williamson
Sho Funaki 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I'd take Williamson. Johnson likes him as a target. he gets open a lot and that offense will throw a ton.
berg 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Add Gonzo, drop Watson.
ghettogull 0 Posted September 14, 2006 i'd drop watson and pick up gonzalez
Smol0028 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I would keep what you have.....I think Heap can easily be a top 3 TE if he satys healthy and Watson can be a top 5 TE. Watson is really the #1 wr in NE IMO....so T Brown would be #2 I think Gonzo is not going to be better than Watson or Heap...especially with Trent Green out for a while. At best I see Gonzo being about even with Watson and Heap. Thanks for seeing mine
bwm 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I would take Gonzo over the rest i believe in my tight ends in the red zone
J5 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I really like Williamson but I don't think I would drop these guys for him.
bunnerjk 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Drop Watson (overhyped) for Gonzo. Drop M.Jones for R.Smith or take a gamble on Williamson!!!!
