Randy Moss, do I bench him

Recommended Posts

Moss has a tough match up with Baltimore and Oakland has enough problems keeping their quarterback from being sacked. I only have to start 2 WR. I start 2 RB's and have a RB/WR spot where I always start a RB.

Do I bench Moss this week? :D

Ro. Smith (Den - WR) KC

I. Bruce (StL - WR) @SF

T. Williamson (Min - WR) Car

R. Moss (Oak - WR) @Bal

I would stick with moss. He has too much upside to bench in my opinion.

Williamson isnt worth a start yet, and moss can still do better than a #2WR (Bruce).

Go with I. Bruce and R. Smith on this one, even though it's gotta sting putting Moss on the bench. Hope it helps...

Thanks for your help w/ mine

I would stick with moss for now...even against baltimore I still think he can come down with a jump ball and turn it into a big play...he is the ONLY Raider I even consider starting this week!

Thanks for replying to mine

I'd flip a coin between Moss and Smith. The Raiders are horrible on offense (Brooks is horrible combined with their O-line) and Smith plays a KC defense that limited Palmer to 127 yds (the chiefs defense played well (the Bengals had only one drive over 50 yards. turnovers killed KC) You're third option hasn't proven anything yet and plays a tough Carolina D (despite their lackluster performance last week). I'd lean very slightly towards Moss but wouldn't expect him to put up big numbers.

I think I'd bench him. The Raiders O-line is so bad that Brooks, or whoever replaces him when he is broken, won't have enough time to wait for Moss to get down field for a tru jump ball opportunity. The Raven's defense looked really good last week.
