MacAir747 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I have to start 2...Drew Brees is a given. I can't believe Favre would be bad against NO, but I thought that numerous times last year and watched him have bad games, and last week was horrific. Alex Smith had a good game, but is 1 game enough to start him ahead of Favre? There's also J.P Losman on waiver wire, but at this point I can't justify picking him up and dropping someone from my bench. Maybe if he has another good game.. What do you guys think? Will answer yours, Thanks
Terrorazer 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I actually think Alex Smith will be your best play from those choices. I have faith that he will put up solid numbers once again against a suspect Rams secondary. The Rams defensive front did look extremely impressive on Sunday vs the Broncos, but I just have a good feeling that Alex Smith will keep this game close, and will continue hitting Bryant and Vernon with nice hook-ups. Basically, I agree with FFToday's projections for him this week.

Starting Favre based on name only and not how he's been playing. It's almost like trying to lay down pocket AA when 3 hearts come on the flop and there's a big bet (hope you're a poker player!) calvarytricities 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I know it sounds odd but Im recomending Smith as well. I think he will have a good wk and is a solid start. Good luck!
HedgeHawg 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Another vote for Smith. His throws last week were accurate, and the Rans D may have a little trouble covering A.Bryant. The Green Bay Slackers look horrible, and I don't think Favre will have any success this year. andaval 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I would probably go Smith too, I wouldn't want to start Favre until he shows me a readon to this season.
Dascoopman 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I live here in Utah and watched a lot of Ute games and Smiths last game he is finally looking more like he did in college, I think he is going to have a way better year than last year and I think he is going to have another good week as well I would pretty much give up on Favre at this point he is far too risky in my opinion at all this year. Thanks for mine
