Ultimate1981 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Ok i know to take Addai's good game with a grain of salt because he was playing a weak Run D in Houston, but it is very notworthy that he significantly outplayed Rhodes who was facing the same weak Houston D as Addai was. THe Numbers: -Addai with 16 Carries, Rhodes with 14 Carries -Addai averaged 5.1 yards per carry, Rhodes averaged 2.6 yards The Bad -Addai fumbled -Rhodes got the only goaline touchdown (Addai's was a 22 yard receiving touchdown). Week 4 or 5 I wouldn't be surprised to see Addai as the starting back.

rm1369 0 Posted September 17, 2006 I am an indy homer that doesn't own Addai. IMO he outplayed Rhodes last week as well, even though neither had a good game. I have not seen a single thing that Rhodes does better than Addai. He's a better runner, has better hands, and blocks better than rhodes. He is also faster and and more physical, as well. I think it is a given he will be the starter in a couple weeks.
baltfool 0 Posted September 17, 2006 I am glad I played Addai over C.Brown this week! Of course I am greedy too, and am pissed they didn't let him run it in from the 3yd line late in the game. Oh well, from all statistical accounts he outplayed Rhodes and hopefully will assume more and more of the duties over the next few weeks. But damn I could have used that last TD!!!!
