skittles 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Okay fellas, I'm having a QB problem. Drafted Jake Delhomme and Jake Plummer, and felt pretty damn nice about this tandem. Well, I'm now 1-1, and am actually scoring quite well thanks to tons of catches and yardage from all involved: RB Barber RB Bush WR Wayne WR Coles WR Driver TE Heap K Vinatieri They're keeping me alive. But back to the QBs. Obviously you know how I'm feeling right now. I have the suddenly VERY expendable Wali Lundy, and plan to cut him and pick someone up for week 3, what with the Panthers facing Tampa, and Denver facing New England. Some options on the wire: Jon Kitna (v Green Bay) Rex Grossman (at Minnesota) Alex Smith (v Philadelphia) J.P. Losman (v New York Jets) These guys should be available to me on Tuesday morning. Any of them shouting at at you? I am also considering making a move for Leftwich (at Indianapolis), Vick (at New Orleans), or Palmer (at Pittsburgh). Palmer is shooting kind of high, because I will still consider Delhomme my starter. Just need a stop gap until Smith gets back in the game. shake_a_leg 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Rex Kitna (the rest) I thought I was getting "stuck" with Vick this year, but so far he's panned out pretty well in my dynamic duo of Vick and Brad Johnson...yeah. Skol Vikes! 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I would go Rex here. You need a guy with upside, not just another mediocre option. If Rex does well against a strong Minny secondary, he may end up being one of the better starts in the league. With the others, question marks will remain. Here's my quandry!
