bye week blues

Recommended Posts

I'm 2-0 now and looking ahead to Week 3.

I have no defense to start this week and the best wire pickup looks like Was @ Hou

LJ, JJ, Gates, SD Def are all have a bye this week

I go up against 2-0 guy in week 3 who has the most overall points and no bye week problems, so I'm almost thinking of giving up on the week.

Should I sacrifice a player to fill the D spot? If so, who do think I should drop?

We start QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, D. PPR league.

Here's my roster:

QB Warner, Bledsoe, McNair

RB LJ, Chester, JJ, Addai, Mike Bell

WR Holt, Driver, Coles, Bryant, M. Jones

TE Gates, Colston

K Wilkins

D San Diego

If I drop anyone from that team, it's MIke Bell. All of your other positions look solid. I know you hate to drop anyone, but don't give up on a week. Anything can happen.

Agreed, but MAYBE a QB...McNair? however with Bledsoe on bye he might not get picked up

Thanks for your response. Here are my thoughts:

I think you wait until the player you drop will remain on waivers through the weekend (Sat in most leagues). I would then waive Bell because he will be on a bye next week and will be less attractive than any of your other players. Depending on how your waiver rotation works, you could still get him back in the first waiver round next week...
