Yea, the vocals aren't that greta, but this was 11 years ago.

Now the focker can almost duplicate Sebastian Bach vocally. (Not quite, but almost)

It sounds like 800 of the other shitty songs put out by wanna be hair-metal bands of the 80's who were riding on the coattails of bands like the Crue and Van Halen.

 

Or a bad cover of a Dream Theater tune.

 

But I'll give him credit...I think I heard riffs in the intro that must have taken him weeks to steal and compile together. Overall, not bad.

 

 

 

I should note, his cover of Tom Sawyer is pretty greta!

 

In all fairness, he's not bad.....maybe even good.

And home recordings can hide some things, so I take it all with a grain of salt.

He lacks any 'feeling' IMO.

 

He's a good guitarist, and can hit the notes (singing), but he seems like he's just not that into it. Dunno...maybe me.

His favorite band by far is Dream Theater

Also, he, like myself is a huge 80's freak.

Besides Pettruci, his main influences on guitar were DeMartini, Jake E Lee, Viddo Bratta, Vai, Satriani, etc.

 

Right now he has a studio musicians gig for a band that used to open up for Van Halen. (Sunburn ?)

It is all just on the side sh1t for him, but being a wannabe guitarist myself, it's kinda cool to watch him play.

I could pick up on some RATT licks in there as well. Very noticeable. Not bad...like DeMartini myself.
