Trade Shockey and Keyshawn for Stallworth - OR -

Recommended Posts

Alright, here's where I'm at. I got one guy who will give me Chester Taylor for Shockey. I got another guy who said he might give me Stallworth for Shockey and Keyshawn.

Which is better for my team? Scoring is 1pt/10yds, 2pt/TD + 6pt/0-9yds, 9pts/10-39yds and 12pts/40+ yd score. This applies to RB's, WR's and TE's.

Thanks.

You have to ask the same question again in a different form? What part of 'pick up chester' do you not understand? Asking the same question multiple times will get you no mo answers from me! Oh hell, it is your team, do whatever you damn well please.

I'm not too high on shockey, he hasn't looked very good so far even considering his injuries, which i see hampering him all year

I like stallworth in pass heavy philly and with steve smith coming back keyshawn won't get as many looks

But if taylor puts up good numbers against the bears he is the real deal

I guess it depends on the rest of your team and how many you start at each position

You get your rocks off yet punk? Not the same question. Asking which trade sounds better. Go play in the sandbox little boy.

Who are your other RBs. Your other TEs? Is there a viable replacement TE on the waiver wire if you don't have another one you can plug in and get production similar to Shockey's?

Need more info...

Edit: Never mind, I just read your sig.

Assuming that is your team, I see no reason to make either deal. You're fine at RB and WR. Are you sure you want to rely on Winslow for your TE production?

First of all, how many do you play at each position? You really don't even need to do anything at all. I'd say go with Taylor but if Shockey picks up then you lost a good TE and got another RB when you already have a good amount. I'd say package Shockey with a lower RB and get him to give you Taylor and a better TE then Winslow

Yor receivers look good. Wouldnt worry about Stallworth right now.

Yes, it looks like C. Taylor is a good back, but is he for real? Dont know quite yet.

But, bottom line, I wouldnt give up Shockey and rely on an inept Browns offense and Winslow. We dont really know if Winslow is a TD threat because rarely does Cleveland get in the red zone.

An example: We all like RB's who get 25 touches a game. For our TE's one thing to look at is how many opportunities do they get to score. With Shockey and the Giants offense, they will have many more red zone appearances than Cleveland.

EDIT: I missed that you had Coltson. I agree with dalie below.....he can play TE if in yahoo league and u can go after taylor.

Are you in a Yahoo (or another) league where Colston is listed as a WR/TE and you can use him as a TE? If so then you are set at TE even without Shockey and trade for Chester if at least to package him or another back in a trade to upgrade down the line. If Colston is only a WR then hold with what you have.

I agree with Dalie. If you can plug Colston in, then he and Winslow should be fine. You certainly don't need receiver help so grabs Taylor for Shockey before his value goes up and the trade is pulled away. Otherwise stick with what you have. :headbanger:
