bravo 0 Posted September 23, 2006 I have both WRs, and Coles is listed as questionable, though I believe he said he was going to play. They have been neck and neck with fantasy points, so who gets the start this week? Leave a link and I will try to help you.
czorn 0 Posted September 23, 2006 I like Cotchery in this one. He's the safer bet -- even if Coles starts, Cotchery will be out there grabbing balls. Coles is a bigger risk without any more perceptible up-side. Please help...
Smol0028 0 Posted September 23, 2006 I always go with a non injured player when it comes down to something like this. I think Cotchery will but up good numbers. Thanks for seeing mine
Cadmandeux 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Thanks for seeing Mine. If they were both healthy...Id say Coles, but that Big Q after his name makes me pick Cothery this week. Id rather play the player I KNOW will get points rather than the one who MIGHT. Just my opinion.
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 23, 2006 If Coles is starting, he will play hard regardless. I'd go with Coles if he starts. If he's not starting but is supposed to play, not good enough, then start Cotchery. Thanks 4 mine

Stick with the primary option and don't overanalyze the situation. Cotchery was good last week, but you can look at that long TD reception two ways: a great play on his part and poor tackling on NE's part. From a fantasy perspective, I think it's wiser to see Cotchery's week against NE from the viewpoing that the long TD was a gift from the NE defense. No offense to Cotchery's play, but you'd have to look at it this way even if it were Jerry Rice in his prime. Coles could have easily had that same play happen to him in that game... Unless Coles injury really looks like it's going to effect his play, go with the main receiver.
mix 0 Posted September 23, 2006 If Coles plays I'd go with him he is playing at a very high level right now. He has been thrown at 22 times so far. my ? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=236555
angman 0 Posted September 23, 2006 I'd go with Coles as well, he and Pennington seem to have that rapport going again. He will play. Cotchery though isn't a bad fall back option to have.
baronmd77 0 Posted September 23, 2006 Go with Coles if the injury doesn't keep him off the field. He has great raport with Penny and is his promary target in the red zone. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=236557
