I have Trent Green on my bench, but also have an open WR spot this week!

 

Should I drop trent Green to pick up either:

 

1. Lee Evans

2. Gregg Jennings

3. B. Berrian

 

Or keep T Green and have an open spot this week (I also have E Manning and Favre, but we start 2 QBs)

I just have a ton of Bye week players this week (T Green, L Jordan, TO, Macardell, Dallas D) and with E manning out next week, I'll probaby have to drop Green for a replacement anyway b/c I don't think he will play so I thought I shoulp possible drop him now to have the open WR postion filled this week.

IF you have a decent option in your FA pool, why not pick up a decent QB? On the other hand Green could take a while. Who knows when Evans will produce. Who knows if Jennings will produce. Berrian had 1 catch in wk 1, and profited vs the Lions, not exactly a trend. Without knowing your roster I would say you need to cover backuop QB first.

I'm hanging on to Trent also. I really think he can still have some great weeks. Hate to take a empty slot though- I'm not a big Evans fan. If you had some thing better to pick up maybe dump Green- if thats all there is hang onto Green.

2 QB leagues are tough. The pickings are really slim on the WW. The problem is you're going to need a QB for next week. I think I'd hold onto Green until you know he is definitely out next week, then try to pick up another QB if he is. I don't think any of those WRs will help much.

I would wait a week, none of the guys is the savior to your team.

I think the Bears will run more once the opponents get tougher and the weather gets worse. Evans is a definite no. Green Bay's defense sucks so bad that Jennings may be a viable option. If no one has picked them up yet, they'll probably be there another week. You can make waiver moves on game day or is this an acquisition for next week.
