Trade Help Trying to get Harrison

Recommended Posts

Here is my stituation. I am tyring to swing a deal to get Marvin Harrison from a buddy of mine. My team is in my sig, and here is his team:

QB-Brady, Bledsoe, Roethlesberger

RB-LT2, Mike Bell, Mike Anderson, LenDale White

WR-Harrison, SaMoss, Branch, Bruce, MaClayton, SiMoss

TE-McMichael K- Stover DST-Ravens

I am trying to trade him some quality players that would start on his team, while getting Harrison in resturn. So here is the deal as it stands:

Gonzo/Rhodes/TWilliamson for Harrison/MAnderson/SiMoss

The questions that I have are - Is this deal fair? Am I giving enough for him to give me Harrison? Does this trade help both teams? Am I giving up enough or too much? Would it be a better offer if I gave ABryant instead of TWilliamson? I know this is a lot of questions, but I really need some help here. I have to get this deal done tonight or it will not work out.

Thanks for your help and leave a link, I will respond to all of them.

Well, MAnderson is almost a throw away.

You do upgrade him a lot at TE and a little at RB/WR. In return you get a big, big upgrade at WR.

I think, generally speaking, it's fair - but I'd rather be on your end of the deal for sure :ninja:

If I were him, I wouldn't do that trade. Harrison is #2 in rec and #1 in yds. Playing in Indy, his td's will come. Gonzo doesn't have much value with Green out and Roaf gone (he has to block more). Unless they get behind, his #'s won't be good. Troy Williamson is a notch below Bruce (imho), so that doesn't help him. Rhodes is an upgrade to his #2 rb, but not enough to warrant parting with Harrison. A. Bryant would be better, but it depends on how sold he is on him at this point in the season.

It basically depends on how desperate he is for his #2 back. If it was me, I'd turn it down. I am currently trying to get Harrison from at team that needs a #2 rb as well, but I am offering Chambers and Ahman Green.

If he'll do it, you obviously win... Harrison is the only stud involved in this trade... Gonzo and Williamson are "startable", but I think I would reject that if I were him. Good luck!

hook me with your opinion of my W. Parker for Cadillac thread.

I would do it of course....I just assume you are just afraid of ruining up your friendship if he gets completely screwed :dunno: . I would at least give him a choice of TE (Gonzo or Heap) or switching Byrant with Williamson like you said.
