WhoDat 1 Posted September 29, 2006 check my sig for my team. H.Miller is off this week and KWII seems to be "questionable" at best. I'm playing a very good opponent this weekend. I am being offered B.Troupe TE and a very early 3rd rnd rookie pick 2007 for C.Houston RB NYJ and a very late 2007 3rd Rnd pick.. I'm pretty solid at RB for a 16 team league. Houston is at the end of a long bench. lol Is Troupe the man in Tenn this weekend? A year ago, I thought Troupe was a monster, but looks like Scaife is now cutting in... What gives. Any insight would be really really helpful. Thanks. Only players avail on WW are J.Gilmore TE Chi (DesClark probably out), Campbell (det)..ugh!!!!
nocarbs 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I think KW is going to play. Anyway, I would just grap someone on waivers (E.Johnson, Owen Daniels or J.Wiggins).

When I say Gilmore and Campbell are the only TE's avail, I really do mean that. Our rosters are 41 players and with 16 teams, the ww is so very thin... Brown Growler 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Troupe sucks. he has like 6 fantasy points all year. Winslow will play and will probably play well against a weak Raider team.
midnitetoqr 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I was really high on Troupe for this year, but Collins has killed off Troupe's fantasy value thus far into the season. And Scaife is getting some looks too. All that plus Winslow's great match-up this week would lead me to refuse the trade offer, despite Winslow's sore knee and questionable status.
boboskips 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I imagine in your 16 man league, there are pretty slim pickings in FA or on the wire. Why not take it? Looking at your roster, I can't imagine a scenario in which you'll play Houston. You are deep enough at RB that you have so many options before him. In my view, Troupe's potential is much higher than Houston's.
ggroovy17 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I think Winslow is going to play as well, if so you have to start him and don't do that trade.
drasgear 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I wouldn't do that trade. It's not worth it in the long run. Just start KW - it's only 1 week and te isn't usually a big points getter.

Madler 6 Posted September 29, 2006 Agree with that others that Winslow will play this week. If you can hold off making the trade then do so. Troupe is doing nothing and it appears that Scaife has something going with Collins. Gilmore might be a better pick up and play than making the trade. If Clark is out, I am in Chicago and it appears he is, Gilmore might steal a goal line catch. The tight end has been used alot by the Bears and I think for this week in particular against a tough Seattle D it may still be used. Thanks for helping me out. But dropping down in the draft, even if it is the 3rd round of a rookie draft, is a little more than I'd want to pay for a one-week fill-in that might not even be necessary if Winslow does play. Not dropping down, but moving up some 10-12 spots.
