BlueWorldOrder 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I think I may have a deal worked out to trade Willie Parker for Larry Fitzgerald. Â I have Steven Jackson and Kevin Jones (along with a varying assortment of potential backups - Norwood, Moats, Mo Morris). My WR's are Chambers, Horn and Michael Clayton, not good for a PPR league. Â Deals for Steve Smith, Terrell Owens, Torry Holt and Marvin Harrison have already been rejected. Â On one hand I look at FWP as a monster back who will catch balls and get 30+ carries a game, on the other hand I question his durability being used as much as he will. He is also my most coveted player as no one wants Kevin Jones. Â Should I deal my most tradeable player or hope those wide receivers pan out? Advice, opinions appreciated. Integral 0 Posted October 5, 2006 ehhh I dont think I would make that trade. Try to get a more sure deal WR. The QB situation is blurry in Arizona! its Bananas  http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=240970
Neckturd 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Tough decision. If you get rid of him, your looking at Jones as your number 2. That's not very desirable! What I would do is wait until after this weekend. Hopefully Chambers has a decent day, and you might be able to package him AND Jones for a stud WR. If you can't wait, then make the trade. However, do a two for two so you aren't out a position... BlueWorldOrder 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Guess my feeling that Kevin Jones could be a solid #2 down the stretch might be a little overestimation on my part. Anyone else got anything for me?
cougars 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I would have to say yes but watch out for the qb situation in arizona doesn't look good
golden bear 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Don't do it. FWP is a feature back, and I think Fitz will disappoint now that Leinart has taken over. Rookie QBs traditionally do not perform very well, and their o-line is so bad that I think he could really struggle. Hold on to FWP.
bunnerjk 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Don't trade your #2 RB away for Fitz. He's now in a rookie QB situation with Boldin being just as valuable as Fitz. You do need help at WR, but this will only hurt you in the long run!!!!!
Dapuma 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I think Fitz is going to suffer due to the QB situation there I wouldn't trade for him.
kcBlitzkrieg 29 Posted October 5, 2006 No go buddy....I have also been offered Fitz for Fast Willie and Im not taking it, although I have a much more solid RB & WR core. Ive also been getting offers such as T.O. & draft pick or Colston & pick for FWP (keeper league). Id try to get something more solid than Fitz (although Id be optimistic as a Fitz owner w/ Leinart taking over). Still though, hope for a productive weekend out of your squad & then try to package something to get a top wideout.
