czorn 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I just traded Plummer for Favre straight-up. (The P. Manning owner didn't realize that Favre and PM had the same bye week...). Here's the question. Do I start: Favre vs. St. Louis in GB, or Alex Smith vs. Oakland in SF? I'd normally say Favre, easily, but St. Louis has a solid pass D (e.g., it leads the NFL in picks with 8, while Oakland has only three). He will find every all of his receivers, especially with Gore a little dinged up...Start Bryant and Holt... nineninetythree 0 Posted October 5, 2006 As of now I have Smith going. I could pick up Favre on the waiver wire, but I'm a little worried over the stinger injury he got last week. I think it's a coin flip as well. Probably both will be high scoring games. Probably both will throw interceptions as well... With the SF OAK rivalry, that could be a factor, positive or negative... I kind of figure whoever I go with, I will be wrong as usual. I have been wrong at QB every week this year (Vick, CPep, Smith) Glad I could help - ha ha. I would start Favre.
