Beef Ravioli 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I am leading my 13 team league at the moment, but what I thought was going to be a good receiver crew has been average. I just picked up Berrian and I am considering picking up Doug Gabriel from NE. I would like to wait a week or two to get him, but I think he will be gone after this weekend. My obvious choice to drop is Brandon Jacobs, but I know that Tiki Barber is going to get hurt, because I have thought that the last two years. The dude is to small to be an every down back! I can't believe the guy is that durable! I know as soon as I drop Jacobs, Tiki will go down, and Jacobs will be huge. Do I trust my RB's that remain and get Gabriel or gamble and hold onto Jacobs. Sorry for the rambling and thanks for the help! My team right now Bulger, Marc STL QB Pennington, Chad NYJ QB Gore, Frank SFO RB Jacobs, Brandon NYG RB Johnson, Rudi CIN RB Jordan, Lamont OAK RB Maroney, Laurence NEP RB Berrian, Bernard CHI WR Boldin, Anquan ARI WR Bryant, Antonio SFO WR Driver, Donald GBP WR Smith, L.J. PHI TE Carney, John NOS PK Chargers, San Diego SDC Def

kiki 0 Posted October 6, 2006 That's a tough one bro, your team looks pretty good and very deep at RB. I agree that Jacobs could blow up IF Tiki gets hurt, but he's more durable than most think... He so shifty, he hardly ever takes a hard hit. Gabriel could be big going down the stretch if he stays healthy. What WR's does the Tiki owner have in your league? Solution: Trade Jacobs and one of your WR's for an upgrade to your WR corp (if he has one you like)... Pick up Gabriel to add depth! Good luck
swgalaxy 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Pick up Gabriel. Brady is starting to feel comfortable with him and it should continue. What other WR is going to get touches??? I'm looking for help: See "Trade Proposal" on this website.
Kam187 6 Posted October 6, 2006 Yea definetly pick up Gabriel. I don't see Jacobs as a handcuff to Tiki Barber. I think he is expendable and Tiki is very durable. I would pick up Gabriel who really can help you in a more practical way. Jacobs would just be stashed on your bench. I dont think u get much trade value for Jacobs but u can always try. Good luck and thanks for seeing mine!
dutchbuffalo 0 Posted October 6, 2006 If you have Tiki you have to keep Jacobs. Thanks for mine.
bobpate17 0 Posted October 6, 2006 looking at your RB depth I think u can drop jacob. you never know what might happen with injuries. any player can get injured anytime. you have good RBs. jordan is comming back. so I would say drop jacob and pick up NE wr. jdkjoller 0 Posted October 6, 2006 You've got a pretty deep team as is. I wouldn't make any drastic moves unless it's a necessity...which I don't see. To be honest, if I got rid of a player it would be that waste of space, LaMont Jordan. I drafted him in my other league and I'm kicking myself for it. Thanks for helping on mine. NebraskaRRT 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I agree drop Jacobs. And how exactly due you know Tiki is gonna get hurt.? I think you bought in to what everyone else says about small backs. That statement is ridiculous. And the last 2 years has he been hurt? Tell your to small comments to Dunn.
