Amani Toomer & Donald Driver

 

for

 

Randy Moss & Drew Bennett

 

 

Would you do it? Obviously Driver is hurt, but so is Bennett.

 

I have Holt as my #1, so I'm good there, but I need two consistant performers for my 2-3 wr starters.

 

Is Moss a bust this season? Any help is appreciated.

I say you accept it right away. Get outta the mess in Oaktown and the titans are suffering also. Driver is a must have and Toomer isnt a shabby throw in. In the giants O he'll always have a chance.

I'd take that trade in a second. I guess it's theoretically possible that Moss will come around and start putting up Moss-type numbers at some point, but he's shown no indication so far that he will. Even if he does, Driver should continue to put up big numbers when he's healthy again, and so far the Giants have been passing for some big numbers and Toomer has looked like a 1a option for them so far.

I would do it, but will he wait till after this weekend? Driver is out most likely an you will probably get a TD out of Moss against the Niners.

i would take it, bennet has young as a qb and we're not sure how he'll do, and moss....poor poor moss.......yea im pretty sure you know now to accept the trade asap!

For me it would depend on how things shake out this weekend ( I realize the trade may be off the table if you wait). I'd just want to see Moss 1 more time, have a bad game vs. a weak SF D, then I would pull the trigger. I would also be watching Drivers injury of course, does he play, does he play and it get's worse, etc.? Toomer is better than Bennett, so if Moss is mediocre this week and Driver's injury isn't any worse, pull the trigger.

Waiting till tomorrow might be a good idea to see if Moss can do anything against SF and is Walters can do anything at all. But I think Driver will be better this season and will come along as Favre's #1 target as the season goes on even with Jennings there. Bennet won't produce with Young at QB probably so I'd take the trade.
