First place in the last flight, 3rd place in the overall after a 6 team, 3 hole shootout, winning team takes all ($1500). My partner made par/net birdie on the 2nd shootout hole (I bogeyed) & we tied with another team to see who went to the last hole. We had a chip off from off the green, closest to the pin moves on, loser goes home. The chip is down hill, breaking hard left. Guy from the other team goes first & chips it in Needless to say, we lost.

 

 

That shootout was the toughest thing I've ever done playing golf. There must've been 90-100 people watching the 6 teams on that first tee. Par 5, drive over water, trouble left. I'm a 18 handicap who might break 90 twice a year. PLUS, until two weeks ago, I haven't played since the last member/guest last year. So I have to hit this drive with all these people watching & $1500 on the line, and I'm hitting a driver that I borrowed from my brother for the weekend.
