Dunger 0 Posted October 11, 2006 IDP wise, my league starts 3 DL/LB, 2 DB, 2 DB/LB/DL My current lb are Bulluck, Zach Thomas, Vilma, Barnett, and I did have Mike Peterson, but just dropped him and got Chris Draft. I need to pick another LB to cover for a barnett's bye and future byes in wk 7-9. Scoring for IDP is 1 pt per tackle, .5 for assist, 5 for sack, 6 for INT, 3 for FF, 4 for FR, 6 for TF, 5 for Safety, 1 for PD. Some LB fa are: Foote, dansby, boss bailey, A. wilson, Thomas Howard... IN$TANT REPAY 8 Posted October 11, 2006 I would get Dansby or Wilson. Dansby did not start the last game, could be coming back from an injury or something, I do not know. But Wilson had a beast of a last game, 16 total tackles on MNF. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Leonard Henry -2 Yds 0 Posted October 11, 2006 No offense to this site, but for IDP help you should go to the footballguys.com message board where they have a forum entirely devoted to IDP. Dansby took most of the starting snaps, but I've heard elsewhere that the injury he is suffering from is "career-threatening," despite the stellar performance. If you have the roster space, stash Dansby, but start Foote. That way, if Foote continues posting solid games, you can taunt your opponents claiming they've been STOMPED BY THE FOOTE. Back in the day, in Madden NFL, whenever Norman Hand would get a sack, I'd taunt my opponent with SLAPPED BY DA HAND. Also, I'd drop Chris Draft and pick up both the guys I just mentioned. And break down the numbers that each player generates by the week. Look at the tackles and who they are against. Look at their biggest games. Was there an 8 tackle cap? A 10 tackle cap? What is the best that these guys have done in one game? Was it a fluke (rainy conditions/other player and player changed positions or played longer) that caused the stat spike? What type of defense do they play in (3-4/4-3/hybrid)? What side do they occupy (weak/strong/middle/outside/inside)? There are many factors that lead to a player's performance as you may very well know. I would keep Draft and get Wilson. Dansby had a great game but he is not consistent enough for me and it seems like he is not an every down backer while playing with an injury: Oct 7 Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby is still not 100 percent since returning from a toe injury that forced him to miss the entire preseason and the season opener. Ras66not99 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I'd avoid Dansby as well.... he's really battling that toe injury and playing through pain... he had a great week last week finally but I'd avoid him cause he may lose P.T. if he feels pain.... Al Wilson looks to be healthy again so he'd be a solid fill in during the byes... your Lb's are beasts so you'll be fine losing Peterson.... I'm sure someone in your league has DeMeco Ryans, Angelo Crowell, Michael Boley & Kyle Morrison, but incase they don't, try snatching one of them up if they're on the WW Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
