Berrian for Carr

Another owner, who is also in my division, is 2-3 and desperate for a QB. I'm 5-0 but could really use some WR help (with Fitz hurt, my other options are Chambers, Colston, Toomer, and Gabriel ).

 

He's offered me Berrian for Carr (I already have Eli who I will probably never ) and I'm really torn. Upgrade my WRs and help him, but screw myself big time if Eli goes down? Or sit tight and hope my less than spectacular WR corp will hold up?

 

I appreciate any advice and will help with yours if you leave a link.

 

 

FWIW, I only need to start 2 WRs since my RB corp is studly (Rudi, Tatum and Dunn).

I would do it. Carr is a great back up, but Berrian is the big play guy in Chicago and I really liked the fact that he caught a 4 yd TD...says to me he is becoming Grossmans favorite target anywhere on the field...not just on deep routes.

 

Great upside for Berrian. Like you said.....Eli will be your starter all year....so Carr is tradable in this case.

 

Looks like a good deal to me.

Take the deal and deal with Eli goin down if it happens. You can always find someone decent to plug in.

Agree with the above. Get Berrian and deal with Eli going down if that happens.

Definetly do the deal. Get Berrian. Carr is leading the NFL in passer rating and has some weapons to throw to. U can afford the deal. Make it. Please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=243507

Definitely do the deal as others have said. You can probably find a back up QB, like a Frye, Johnson, Losman, or whoever if you really needed. If Eli goes down, you will be in the same shape with Carr as you would be with Frye. Don't fret over Carr:)
