I need help with WR/QB this week.

I need WR/TE this week since I can play coston at WR or TE. Stallworth injured and Harrison is on bye. Shockey just appeared on WW. Should I pick him up and start him? I will need backup TE next week as well since NO is on bye. and I don't think shockey will be there at that time. My other options are

 

Jenkins (Atl: vick doesn't throw much)

A. Bryant (SF: SD D has been really good this year and I also have Gore)

Mccardell (SD: doing nothing so far)

D. Bennett (Ten: injury question and been inconsistant)

R. curry (Oak: they are so inconsistant)

Welker (Mia: I am also starting R. brown as my RB)

 

Second quesiton is Who is better Kitna or Carr???

If you think Shockey won't be there next week and you want him, I'd grab him. I don't think any of those other receivers are worth missing out on Shockey compared to whatever other TEs are likely on the WW.

 

As for Kitna or Carr....I'll take Carr.

I would go get Shockey. He practiced well on Thursday, and should play.

 

I prefer David Carr over Kitna, although Kitna has recently had some good games.

GO with Shockey. He will be worth the reward, and I think that Carr is finally starting to find himself, and will continue the hot streak

Carr has had incredible FF #'s despite the rest of the team sucking...Go with him

 

 

As far as the WW goes....IF you don't go for Shockey...I'd go with Welker(if you get pts for return yds too) or Bryant.

 

Being that you are going to need a TE next week, Shockey should be an immediate pick up...

I'd pick up Shockey now and go with Carr over Kitna. I'd also see if I have an expendable slot and grab Welker.

Shockey and Carr, Kitna and Detroit throw alot, but they just lost 3 O-Linemen and stink as it is. They'll only get worse!
