artamuss 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Here is my team - week 6 starters in bold. Chambers hasn't been performing up to par - do I stick with my first thought or go with LJ Smith? Only thing about that is it would pit him against my Def - if I switch to Pittsburgh LJ is running against the Def. Who do I play and who do I bench ? Any suggestions? Fran Sharkenton 0 Posted October 14, 2006 agree with all except I'd play Pitt D
artamuss 0 Posted October 14, 2006 agree with all except I'd play Pitt D But that puts them against LJ - is that smart?
Fran Sharkenton 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Pitt is 6th against the run and the Saints have to go against Mcnabb. Both D's are good options both I think the the Pitt game will be lower scoring and I'm not sold on the Saints yet.

To clarify, bench Chambers and go with LJ Smith?
ggroovy17 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I'd play Pitt Def myself. Philly's offense is too explosive right now to play any defense against them. Give Chambers a chance with Joey now tossing the rock.
Fran Sharkenton 0 Posted October 14, 2006 If you have to start a TE then go with Smith and bench Chambers. otherwise start Chambers
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Your starting line up is already looking good to go. Thanks for helping with mine.
vinniedasquid 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Thanks for your suggestion. Harrington seemed to be targeting Chambers a good amount last week, and if he will have a good game against anyone it should be the jets. I'd stick with starting him. Sucks having LJ against your defense but Philly should be able to score more than the Chiefs this week and will probably turn over the ball less. I'd feel better playing Pitt's D. artamuss 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Bump Picked up Battle and changed to Pittsburgh D - still on track? Playing the comissioner (who also happens to be my nephew) and want to kick some family a**
montana 89 Posted October 15, 2006 i see what yer saying, but i think you got the right team starting. i'd rather have lj vs my pitt def & take the gamble than to put it all on the saints to stop mcnabb & the rest of the philly off. dont 2nd guess yerself - this looks good to me. GOOD LUCK!
jdwgig 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I think you should keep it the way it is! Saints wont be able to stop McNabb and the Eagles. I have a strange feeling that the steelers will get a def. score this week!

Harrington will look for Chambers and Joey can escape the pass rush better than Clupepper could which will give Chambers a better chance of getting open. The Steelers D is the best choice as well. Good luck!
