itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 14, 2006 I just offered up Edge Mike Bell Samkon Gado Desmond Mason Doug Gabriel Reggie Williams Philly D For SA Deion Branch If i'm losing out but not that badly i don't mind cause im 1-4 and in last place so i figure i might as well shake things up. His rb's are SA, Dominick Davis(coudlnt make the online draft so yahoo picked for him), Kevin Faulk, and Mike Annderson. He has Indy Def. His WR are Torry Holt, T.O., Branch, Devroy Henderson, and Lee evans. Am i offering too much? Too litle? Should i ask for holt or to? Leave a link
dcbandit 0 Posted October 14, 2006 At 1-4 I'd be looking for someone who's gonna have an immediate impact to help you start winning, not SA, who won't help you for another couple weeks.
BigDaddy1978 0 Posted October 14, 2006 He'd be an idiot to take that trade. He already has the S-end of the RB stick and now you're going to take away his biggest potential for what? A handful of crap! Reggie Williams is playing well and the Philly D might make a good addition, but aside from that, unless Tatum Bell gets hurt, Mike Bell is worthless, Samkon Gado (worthless), Desmond Mason (who?), Doug Gabriel and Reggie Williams (are both #3 receivers who happen to be getting looks the last few weeks and won't improve his reception game anymore than it is because he's going to start TO and Holt every week if he has half a brain). Barring some kind of injury or Holt's bye week (which branch should fill in just fine) he has no need for the extra wideouts. He needs SA as much as you do (hurt or not) and I hope he has some kind of decent backup filling in for the time being. I can't see any reason why he should/would accept this trade. It's like you're handing a big pile of dung with tinsel on it to make it look prettier and trying to sell it as a big screen TV. But that's just my opinion. If you want SA that bad, you gotta come up with more to fill in for his loss at RB cause Edge isn't gonna cut it.
kcjoker 0 Posted October 14, 2006 yeah, the only value you're offering is edge, philly's d, and MAYBE mike bell...for the wr's you offered, he could probably pick one up off the scrap heap. if he accepts, you're lucky. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=243955
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I have to agree with others that the other guy is not likely taking the deal. Thnks for helping with mine.
mgm32 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Probably a bad deal. Not a whole lot of value you're trading away. Just bodies.

Cuse9 129 Posted October 15, 2006 Desmond Mason Didn't Desmond Mason win the NBA slam dunk contest a few years ago?! I like your thought process....shake things up, but you are giving up too much. Do smaller trades that you can upgrade your starters. Don't worry about depth....at 1-4 you don't need depth anymore, you need starters to win games for you. You can always salvage a season.......post your entire team, I am the master at figuring out trades....I can help you!!
itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 15, 2006 No no, Derick Mason won the dunk competition. Or is desmon mason a two-way star? Ha, for some reason i've always mixed those guys up. I wont make that mistake again ha. Qb's- Plummer, Carr RB's- Edge, FWP, Mike Bell, Samkon Gado WR's- Reggie Williams, Eric Parker, Doug Gabriel, Derick Mason, Stokely, Malcom Floyd TE's- COLSTON! Yes, i start him at TE, Ben Watson K- Tynes Def- Philly, ATL (They are ranked 3rd and 4th in my yahoo league) I've been targeting teams with losing records with struggling players. People like Caddy, Harrison, Ward, Ronnie Brown, but that strategy hasn't been working out. I have a lot WR's because i'm hoping a few of them pan out. I think Stokely will be good when he gets healthy again.
