smedia 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Starting Brian Westbrook... Need to pick one of these two. Lamont Jordan (away)vs Denver Marion Barber (home) vs Texans. Any thoughts? Thanks Will answer yours
Bledsoe11 0 Posted October 14, 2006 This sounds crazy but I would go with Barber. Jordan is playing a tough Defense this week. Tenn run def is weak good luck
colston 4 pres 0 Posted October 14, 2006 real tough call... all preferance, lamont could be good for say... 60 rushing, 35 recieving, and maybe a td.... nothing more... i am debating him or leon washington... barber has a good shot at a garage goaline score.. and he is also 4th on the team in reception.... i think... i would go with lamont because he is a starting rb... just traded for chad johnson... did i give up to much
cincyredsfan34 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I'd go with Barber. Denver's Rush D has been great and when Oakland falls behind Den they'll be "attempting" to pass to get back in it. Barber is a good bet to get some goaline touches and a TD. Check mine
AlexPatt 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I would go with Lamont. He's come alive lately. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244093
deadrebel 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Barber has a MUCH better matchup but Jordan is a starter so he will, in all likelihood, get many more touches. However, against Denver, I doubt he will be very productive. Dallas could very well go up large, and early, meaning Barber will get increased carries. I would gamble somewhat and start Barber. lord_majesty 0 Posted October 14, 2006 barber....more upside here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244102 I would go with Barber since he's has a way better match up. and Lamont, well he's playing a pretty tough and quick denver linebackers. bobpate17 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Den has good D. I don't jordan is going to do much. Barber will atleast get one TD and around 50 to 70 yards atleast.
AnaheimRams 28 Posted October 14, 2006 Honestly... I think it depends on the rest of your team. If you think you're "favored", I'd go with Lamont. Probably a gauranteed 40-60 yards... and probably assured to not get in the endzone. If you really need the help... go with Barber. With the matchup, easy potential for 2- TD's plus 50-100 yards. However, he could also easily score you zip. My 2 cents.
Brown Growler 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I would have to go with the guy that is getting the most touches. Hate to say it, but i would go with Jordan. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244115
Melvinbet 5 Posted October 14, 2006 Go with Barber. He will get recepts as well as some possible goaline shots. Thanks for mine!

mambokings 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I'll always favor a full-time starter over the backup RB for another NFL team. I want a RB in my lineup who gets the touches, since if he's not getting those I don't care how talented he is. Jordan doesn't have a great matchup this week, but he is the man in Oakland. He will carry the ball. Barber has a better matchup, and if this was a question for Julius Jones I'd say to go with J.J. However, you're talking about the #2 RB in Dallas vs. the #1 RB in Oakland. I have to side with the #1 every time.
montana 89 Posted October 15, 2006 i'd rather start jordan - but neither will do much.

BrownsWon 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Starting Brian Westbrook...Need to pick one of these two. Lamont Jordan (away)vs Denver Marion Barber (home) vs Texans. Any thoughts? Thanks Will answer yours I would go with Barber. Take away Jordan's 56 yards TD run against Cleveland and Jordan doesn't have a decent performance all year. budman1 0 Posted October 15, 2006 if you don't know that, get out of fantasy fooball!! anyone but lamont!!
ggroovy17 0 Posted October 15, 2006 I have the same situation with Deshaun Foster and Marion Barber and i'm going with Barber. Barber will get the goal-line touches and opponents average 200yds on the ground against Houston. Look at what Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts did and it should be similar to JJ and MBIII. ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Well, thanks for answering mine. Your question is pretty much similar .. but I think I would go with Barber in your case. HOU's D is in noway close to DEN's.
