My line up this week and trade thoughts help..

Recommended Posts

I just found this site so I thought I post some questions I've been milling over and people on here seem willing to help.

What Bears does everyone like this week? I've got T. Jones, Muhammad and Clark. I can't start Jones over LT or Westbrook unless something happens at Game Time with Westbrook. So, with the bye week hell its Muhammad or Welker off the waiver wire, who I like this week. And Clark, or Heath Miller?

Real quick, for this week, Plummer or Delhomme?

*** Long winded trade thoughts start here ***

We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE, 1 D traditional scoring.

My Team :

QB - Plummer, Delhomme

RB - Tomlinson, Westbrook, T. Jones, Maroney

WR - Holt, Wayne, Muhammad, Re. Williams, Edwards

TE - De. Clark, H. Miller

D - Philly

I feel like I need to upgrade my QB or #2 WR. P. Manning and McNabb are off limits, I'm not sold on Grossman and I don't want to double down with Bulger. Are there any QBs left you would move Westbrook or a Wayne/Jones combo to pick up? Maybe Eli or Palmer? Westbrook's knee could put him out for a big chunk of the season on any given play, I feel its a great Sell High time on him with Jones and Maroney ready to go with LT. But can I count on Jones not having his TDs taken away and/or Dillon breaking down soon?

As for my WRs, Wayne has been unproductive and I've got Williams & Edwards, and Moose, in the wings. With the unprovens a top the WR ranks right now, there is noone that really jumps out at me as a must have aside for Holt, who I already own. I don't want to give up Westbrook for Steve Smith if I have to keep Delhomme as I really hate the QB/WR combo meal every week. How long do you think Wayne's slacking will last? Would you move him to upgrade a different position with those 3 listed above ready to replace him?

What is the best risk vs. reward for moving a Westbrook, Wayne, T. Jones?

The long and short of it is I'm considering :

Westbrook/Plummer for Eli/Terry Glenn (upgrading Plummer/Delhomme, adding WR depth)

Wayne/Jones for Eli or Palmer (upgrading Plummer/Delhomme)

Wayne/Muhammad for Leftwich (upgrading Plummer/Delhomme, counting on Re. Willams or Edwards rest of year)

Westbrook/Wayne for Ravens/Chad Johnson (upgrading Wayne and Philly)

Or I could just leave well enough alone ( 5-0, gotta love it).

*** End long winded trade thoughts ***

Sorry for the long post, lots on my mind. Thanx for any thoughts, post your links.

First I will ans your starting line up question.

I would say go with muhamad and clark both if you have no other choice. Ari D sucks. I wouldn't recommend starting WR and TE from same team but if you have no choice then go for it. I like muhamad better than Welker.

For QB I would go with plummer. Car vs Bal game is gon be low scoring game. Plummer has better chance of throwing TD.

For your trade questions I think u r fine at QB. Dellhomme will bounce back since smith is finally back. and he has johnson to throw to now. You may try to get Eli if you want. but I think u r ok. It is good idea to trade westy away while he is still high. try to offer trade to someone in your league who is ranked near end. they tend to make desperate moves and take risk to get up to the top. that's what I have seen so far. I don't know how much upgrade palmer will be. Palmer is scaring me this season. he was sacked 16 times all last year and this season he has been sacked 14 times in 4 games. rest of his schedule doesn't look that nice either. but if you think he will bounce back then he is perfect buy low candidate. same with chad Johnson. I like your team as it is. your WR are fine.
